The first thing you should do is email everyone you know that won't get upset by the offer. Seems pretty straight forward but it's something a lot of people don't do. Also, don't limit yourself to email, there's always ICQ, AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger, Skype etc...
